It’s hard to believe but Hasbro’s FurReal Friends have been around for a decade. This year FurReal Friends is celebrating its 10th anniversary. FurReal Friends bring the Animal Kingdom to life with plush, electronic toys that millions of kids around the world have enjoyed. In this article, we will present some information regarding the new FurReal Friends. Some of the FurReal Friends that we’ll cover include FurReal Friends Baby Butterscotch, FurReal Friends Bouncy, FurReal Friends GoGo My Walkin’ Pup Glitter Edition, FurReal Friends GoGo’s Walkin’ Puppies, FurReal Friends Snuggimals, FurReal Friends Walkin’ Snuggimals, and last but not least FurReal Friends Cuddle Bunnies.

FurReal Friends Baby Butterscotch

FurReal Friends Baby Butterscotch fulfills a girl’s dream of owning a pony . The adult Butterscotch originally came out in 2006 and now Baby Butterscotch is being released in 2013. This is one of the best virtual pets and it really is like a dream come true. Baby Butterscotch is the most realistic FurReal Friend of them all. Baby Butterscotch has three sensors embedded with her that help bring her magically to life. Baby Butterscotch immediately responds to her owner’s touch. Butterscotch has sensors on the top of her head, nose and her back. Depending on which sensor is triggered, Baby Butterscotch will respond in a different manner. Baby Butterscotch has soft, poseable legs and she is very cuddly. Parents will really appreciate this fact. When you hold Baby Butterscotch close by she will nuzzle into you like a sweet little pony. Baby Butterscotch needs to eat every now and then so she comes with a baby carrot. She also needs to be groomed. So they’ve included a grooming brush to make her look nice and pretty. FurReal Friends Baby Butterscotch will be available in the Fall. Baby Butterscotch has a white and light brown coat of fur that is so soft and fluffy.

FurReal Friends Bouncy

FurReal Friends Bouncy is also known as the ‘happy to see me pup’. This has got to be the happiest pup in the world. One look into her gleaming eyes and you’ll be hooked. Bouncy is so cute and adorable and she has real soft fur just like a real puppy. Kids can pet her and they will feel her ultra soft fur. It literally feels like heaven. When Bouncy is in your presence, she will become very excited so she’ll make excited motions and sounds to let you know that she’s happy to see you. She’ll actually bounce around like a real puppy would, hence the name Bouncy. FurReal Friends Bouncy features a light activated sensor in her forehead and back for detecting you. In addition, Bouncy will respond appropriately if you attempt to lean in to give her a kiss. When you pet her back she will stop bouncing and will make cute sounds to let you know how much she loves being petted. FurReal Friends Bouncy is slated for a Fall 2013 release date.

FurReal Friends GoGo My Walkin’ Pup Glitter Edition

The original FurReal Friends GoGo My Walkin’ Pup was released in 2010. Some of you may already own this one. But this year Hasbro is introducing a special Glitter Edition of FurReal Friends GoGo My Walkin’ Pup. GoGo will still be cute and adorable except that she will now have a streak of glitter across her ears. She also has beautiful blue eyes that you could stare into forever. GoGo will also come packaged with a sparkly pink and purple leash so that she never can run away. We must say that GoGo has never looked more fabulous.

FurReal Friends GoGo’s Walkin’ Puppies

The FurReal Friends GoGo’s Walkin’ Puppies will be available in the Spring of 2013. If you pet their backs they will walk in circle and come right back to you. To let you know how happy they are they will even playfully bark. The FurReal Friends GoGo’s Walkin’ Puppies look so adorable. Young kids will find them to be adorable and irresistible. The perfect complement to these puppies would be GoGo My Walkin’ Pup.

FurReal Friends Snuggimals

FurReal Friends Snuggimals are sweet, palm-sized pets. Snuggimals come to life with the simple act of touching them. Kids will find them to be so cute, cuddly, and adorable looking. When you activate the switch on their backs, they seemingly come to life by moving around. The underlying secret is animatronics type technology. For those who like collecting – there are about fifteen Snuggimals to choose from. And each of the Snuggimals will come with its own little Snuggimals house. After all, where is your Snuggimal going to sleep when they need some rest time?

FurReal Friends Walkin’ Snuggimals

Coming in the Fall of 2013 will be the FurReal Friends Walkin’ Snuggimals. Just like the regular Snuggimals, you simply activate the switch on their back and then they start walking. The company will have both the palm-sized golden retriever and the basset hound puppies available.

FurReal Friends Cuddle Bunnies

The FurReal Friends Cuddle Bunnies love to hop just like real bunnies. Once you activate the switch on their backs they will begin hoppity hopping. FurReal Friends Cuddle Bunnies will also make happy bunny sounds that kids will enjoy. Three FurReal Friends Cuddle Bunnies will be available. Two of them will be available in the Spring, while the floppy-eared white bunny will be available in the Fall.
